Threads of the Same Root--Art Print based on concept of interbeing
The term “interbeing” was coined by the Vietnamese Zen master Thích Nhất Hạnh.
He introduced it to express a core insight of Buddhism: that all things exist in interdependence—nothing can be by itself alone.
Threads of the Same Root is a meditation on interbeing—the quiet, unseen truth that nothing exists in isolation. This piece invites the viewer into a field of connection, where every form is part of a larger, living system of relation, growth, and shared becoming.
Woven with layered organic movement and subtle symbolic structure, the painting evokes the feeling of roots beneath the surface—holding, communicating, and sustaining life beyond what is immediately visible. It speaks to the way all things are linked: breath to tree, body to earth, self to collective.
As a fine art print, this work brings a grounding yet expansive presence into a space. It encourages stillness and reflection while gently shifting the atmosphere toward calm awareness and emotional depth. In a home, studio, or contemplative environment, it can serve as an anchoring focal point—softening the room’s energy while inviting a sense of connection and spaciousness.
Threads of the Same Root does not simply decorate a wall; it creates a pause. A reminder that everything within the space—and beyond it—is part of the same living thread.
